If you've ever remodeled anything you know that it always takes twice as long and costs twice as much as you planned. That is totally the case here at our lovely old church!

As we are working on one project, several others have a way of popping up. Speaking of up, you don't get any taller than our lovely bell tower which is really wanting restoring after years and years of water pouring in.

We've spent thousands on new slates, Morton has braved the heights trying to water seal what he could sixty feet high and we still have three leaks coming in every time it rains. Half the loft is dry and water tight now, but the buckets are still setting on the east side.

The wood has rotted and the cross has been damaged in the lightning storms, so the first order of business is to get rid of all the damaged material.

Hard work ahead!
