So much painting!

Ever since we bought the lovely old church, it seems something we are constantly buying is paint. Lots of paint.

Recently I finished painting a hallway by the bathrooms and for whatever reason, it seemed very white and lacking in color.

On a whim I started painting with some of my good acrylics and my fingers and within a day, ended up with something very unusual that I would have never set out to paint.

Using only my left hand, I thought it was a bit odd because I primarily use my right, I felt as free as a child painting with fingers. The colors carried me and the painting basically created itself.

This was one of the most fun and freeing art projects I've ever done. I highly recommend trying it.

Life is too short to wait. Grab those paints now and have a blast!
